Queen Elizabeth II fashion exhibition sees sold-out success

The exhibition ‘Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style’ at the King’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace has become a major success, with tickets selling out rapidly. Due to high demand, the exhibition has been extended for six months, until April 18, 2027.

Curator Caroline de Guitaut noted that the late Queen used fashion as a tool for diplomacy and a means to support the British fashion industry. The display features over 200 items from the private archives of the Royal Collection Trust, including dresses, hats, accessories, and tiaras. Notable designers featured include Norman Hartnell, who created the Queen’s 1947 wedding dress and her 1953 coronation gown, as well as Hardy Amies and Angela Kelly.
