Queen Elizabeth II honored at state funeral in London

A state funeral was held at Westminster Abbey in London to honor Queen Elizabeth II, marking the end of her 70-year reign. The ceremony was attended by approximately 2,000 guests, including global leaders such as US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Emperor Naruhito of Japan. Togo's President Faure Gnassingbé also attended the service.

The funeral follows a period of national mourning that began after the Queen's death at Balmoral Castle on September 8. Following the religious service, a two-minute silence was observed across the United Kingdom. At the time of her passing, the Queen served as the monarch of the United Kingdom and 14 other realms, including Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
