Queen Letizia showcases sustainable fashion and luxury brands
Queen Letizia of Spain has recently highlighted various fashion choices that emphasize both luxury brands and sustainable textile innovation. During the Princess of Asturias Awards, the Queen wore a black dress featuring PYRATEX circ lyocell 3, a specialized fabric developed with the American company Circ. The material is composed of 30% recycled textiles and 70% wood pulp, representing a move toward circular fashion.
PYRATEX, a Madrid-based firm founded by Regina Polanco, supplies high-tech, regenerative, and recycled fibers to major international luxury houses including Dior, Loewe, Balenciaga, and Balmain, as well as brands like Zara Home and Mango.
In addition to sustainable textiles, the Queen's recent appearances have featured several new items, including a navy blue Hugo Boss trench coat, a Mirto suit, and leather boots from the British brand Loake Bham. Her accessories included a new black clutch from Carolina Herrera and Massimo Dutti loafers.
