Queen Mary of Denmark presents 2026 Teaching Prize

Queen Mary of Denmark and Minister for Higher Education and Digitalisation Christina Egelund presented the 2026 Teaching Prize at the Royal Danish Opera House. The awards recognize seven inspiring educators from various Danish higher education institutions, including universities, professional colleges, and maritime academies.

The recipients were selected for their ability to create safe and engaging learning environments that encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. The awardees represent diverse fields such as engineering, navigation, rehabilitation, and dementia studies. Among the prize winners is Amalie Trangbæk, an adjunct at Aarhus University who researches the civil service and central administration.
