Queen Máxima conducts working visits to HEMA and Achterhoek
Queen Máxima of the Netherlands has several upcoming and recent working visits focused on different sectors. On September 17, she is scheduled to visit the HEMA headquarters in Amsterdam to commemorate the retail chain’s 100th anniversary. During this visit, the Queen will tour the design studio to learn about the design process and meet with employees and management to discuss customer relations and the company’s recent history.
In a separate engagement in the Achterhoek region, the Queen visited a fiber hemp grower to focus on biobased construction and sustainable building renovation. Accompanied by Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan, the Queen participated in the farm activities, which included driving a tractor.
