Queen Máxima visits Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands made a private appearance at the Dutch Design Week (DDW) in Eindhoven. Although not part of her official public agenda, she visited various exhibitors at the event, which is Northern Europe’s largest design festival focusing on future visions and social impact.

During her visit, the Queen met with Dutch jewelry designer Ineke Otte. The encounter was noted for its personal nature, as Otte had previously gifted the Queen a mussel necklace during her inauguration tour in 2013. The Queen also interacted with other creators, such as David van der Veldt, during her walkthrough of the exhibition.
