Queen of Angels church consecrated in Texas

Bishop Marc Hanappier presided over several ceremonies at the Queen of Angels priory in Dickinson, Texas, from July 30 to August 2, 2026. The events included the 50th anniversary of the parish and the formal consecration of the church on August 1.

The consecration rites lasted approximately four hours, involving the anointing of twelve consecration crosses on the walls and the consecration of the altar with the relics of martyrs. The ceremonies concluded on August 2 with the administration of the sacrament of Confirmation and a pontifical mass.
