Jordanian Princess Iman gives birth to twin girls

Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, have welcomed twin girls, Talia and Rania, born on August 14. The birth was announced by the Royal Hashemite Court, which confirmed that both the mother and the newborns are in good health.

The announcement of the twins came as a surprise to the public, as Princess Iman’s pregnancy had been previously announced in July without specifying that she was expecting multiples. One of the infants was named Rania in a direct tribute to her grandmother, Queen Rania Al Abdullah, who shared the first family photographs on social media.

This marks the third and fourth grandchildren for King Abdullah II and Queen Rania. The twins join their older sister, Amina, who was born in early 2025. The royal family noted that twin births are not uncommon within the Hashemite lineage.
