Queen Rania of Jordan celebrates 56th birthday

Queen Rania of Jordan celebrated her 56th birthday on August 31, marked by a series of personal and official portraits released by the Hashemite Royal Court. Departing from traditional formal attire, the Queen shared images featuring a casual look, including jeans and a white T-shirt, as well as more elegant portraits alongside King Abdullah II.

The birthday follows a significant family milestone: the recent birth of twin daughters, Talia and Rania, to Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. This addition brings the Queen's total number of granddaughters to four, joining her older granddaughters, Amina and the daughter of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa.

Beyond family celebrations, the Queen continues her public service focusing on education, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian issues both within Jordan and on the international stage.
