Queen tribute productions celebrate the band's musical legacy

Various musical productions are continuing to celebrate the legacy of the rock band Queen and frontman Freddie Mercury through live tribute performances.

In Billings, the internationally acclaimed production ‘Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic’ is scheduled to perform at the Alberta Bair Theater on September 27, 2026. The show features Warren Vernon-Driscoll performing vocals, piano, and guitar, accompanied by an international band. The setlist includes classic anthems such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ ‘We Will Rock You,’ and ‘Somebody to Love.’

Additionally, the group ‘The Queen Kings’ is performing their new show, ‘The Show Must Go On – 100% Live.’ This production emphasizes an authentic approach, performing all songs, choruses, and instrumentation live without the use of backing tracks. Frontman Sascha Krebs stated that rather than attempting to imitate Freddie Mercury’s unique voice, the band aims to ensure the music and legacy continue through their own interpretation.
