Queens homeowner discovers residence is fictional Spider-Man home

A homeowner in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens, New York, discovered that his residence at 20 Ingram Street is the fictional home of Marvel's Spider-Man, Peter Parker.

Jack Shi, a 64-year-old homeowner, purchased the property approximately three years ago and only realized its significance after moving in. Google Maps identifies the location as "Spider-Man's Home," which has led to a steady stream of international fans visiting the site to take photographs. Shi has also become an accidental recipient of numerous letters, drawings, and birthday invitations from children around the world addressed to the superhero.

Local resident Frank Torres, who has lived in the area for 30 years, noted that the connection to the comics may have roots in reality, mentioning that past residents of the street held the surname "Parker." He also noted that another neighbor's surname was "Osborne," similar to the character Norman Osborn.
