Queens housing lottery offers 57 apartments in Long Island City

A new housing lottery in Long Island City, Queens, is offering 57 apartments at the DOMI residential complex. Located at 29-24 40th Avenue, the units include studios and one, two, and three-bedroom apartments with monthly rents ranging from $1,842 to $5,200.

The lottery, part of the NYC Housing Connect program, is divided into two income categories. Nineteen units—comprising 14 studios and five one-bedroom apartments—are designated for households earning 70% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The remaining 38 units are aimed at those in the 130% AMI segment.

Eligible households can consist of one to seven people, depending on the unit size. The DOMI complex features amenities such as a gym, a terrace, shared workspaces, and in-unit washer and dryer equipment. Residents are responsible for electricity costs, including cooking and heating. The deadline to submit applications is November 10, 2026.
