Queens of the Stone Age announce new album ‘Perfecth’

Queens of the Stone Age have announced their new album, titled ‘Perfecth’, which is scheduled for release on October 30 via Matador. The title is a play on the word ‘perfect’, inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, which finds beauty in repaired fractures.

Frontman Josh Homme described the nine-track album as an exploration of various facets of love, including lust, madness, and wisdom. To accompany the announcement, the band released a new single titled ‘Insignificant Other’, which Homme characterized as a song about distance and the experience of someone suddenly vanishing from one's life.

The release follows the single ‘Easy Street’, published last month. Additionally, the band has announced an upcoming tour, including a supporting slot for the Foo Fighters on their ‘Take Cover Tour 2026’, starting September 15.
