Queens of the Stone Age announce ninth album ‘Perfecthog’

American rock band Queens of the Stone Age has announced their ninth studio album, titled ‘Perfecthog’. The announcement was made via a video featuring frontman Josh Homme and multi-instrumentalist Dean Fertita participating in a ‘five-finger filet’ game.

In the video, Homme suggests a tentative release date of September 30, though the band later crossed this date out, stating the album is coming ‘soon’. This follows the band’s previous release, ‘In Times New Roman...’, in 2023.

The band has also released the single ‘Easy Street’, which features country singer Nikki Lane. The track marks a stylistic shift for the group, moving away from heavy riffs toward acoustic guitars and psychedelic, atmospheric sounds.
