Queen's Park Oval renames stand to honor Bravo, Pollard, and Narine

The Queen's Park Cricket Club (QPCC) has renamed the Trini Posse Stand at the historic Queen's Park Oval to the Bravo, Pollard & Narine Stand. The unveiling took place on August 31, 2026, coinciding with Trinidad and Tobago's 64th Independence Day.

The tribute honors three prominent cricketers: Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, and Sunil Narine, recognizing their significant contributions to the T20 format and their roles as global ambassadors for the sport. The new stand joins other existing tributes at the venue, such as the Brian Lara Pavilion and the Learie Constantine Stand.

All three individuals remain active in the cricket community. Pollard and Narine are currently playing for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League, while Bravo has transitioned into a coaching role with the same franchise. The ceremony follows the recent retirement of Bravo's number 47 jersey by the Trinbago Knight Riders.
