Queens Park Rangers face Derby County amid Lamptey injury concerns

Queens Park Rangers (QPR) prepare to host Derby County at MATRADE Loftus Road this Wednesday, following a recent draw against West Ham United. QPR manager Julien Stephan has confirmed that summer signing Tariq Lamptey will miss the upcoming fixture due to an ankle injury sustained during the match at the London Stadium.

Despite the loss of Lamptey, QPR striker Rumarn Burrell has returned to training after missing the West Ham game. The team currently sits sixth in the Championship standings, though they are looking to break a five-match winless streak.

Derby County enters the match seeking their first home victory of the season after a recent draw against Wrexham. While Derby's Sammie Szmodics scored in their last outing, the Rams have struggled to secure wins at Pride Park.
