Queens Park Rangers secure comeback draw against Preston North End

Queens Park Rangers (QPR) secured a 2-2 comeback draw against Preston North End in an English Championship match at MATRADE Loftus Road. Despite being reduced to ten men following a red card for Dennis Cirkin, the home side overcame a two-goal deficit.

Preston North End took an early lead through Johnny Kenny, who scored in the first minute and added a second in the 26th minute. QPR began their recovery in the 66th minute when Ghanaian forward Kwame Poku scored from the edge of the box. Paul Smyth then netted a dramatic equalizer deep into stoppage time to earn QPR a point.

Individual performances were highlighted by Poku, who was noted for his pivotal role and space creation, and Smyth, who provided the late strike. Preston's Johnny Kenny was responsible for the initial advantage before the match settled into a stalemate.
