Queens pediatrician charged with sexual abuse of two patients

Dr. Fazul Yusuf, a 72-year-old pediatrician, has been arrested and charged following allegations of sexual abuse involving two female patients at his practice in Flushing, Queens.

According to prosecutors, the incidents occurred last Tuesday within a 30-minute window. Yusuf is accused of groping a 20-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl. The criminal complaint alleges that during the encounters, Yusuf made inappropriate comments to the patients.

Yusuf faces charges of sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment in Queens criminal court and has since posted bail. The NYPD is requesting that any other potential victims come forward to assist with the investigation.
