Queens woman fatally stabbed by boyfriend before he jumps from building

A 31-year-old woman, Pheona Premraji, was fatally stabbed in her Queens apartment on Wednesday morning. Authorities believe she was attacked by her 32-year-old boyfriend inside their second-floor unit in Far Rockaway.

Following the attack, the suspect climbed to the roof of the seven-story building and jumped. While witnesses described a harrowing scene as neighbors attempted to talk him down, the man fell headfirst from the ledge. He was found with slash wounds to his wrists, ankles, and torso and was rushed to Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital in critical condition.

Family members reported that the victim had been in a relationship with the suspect for approximately six years and had previously complained of his violent behavior. Neighbors reported hearing loud arguments prior to the incident, suggesting a dispute regarding the victim leaving the apartment.
