Queensland Police charge men for vehicle and property crimes

Queensland Police have charged two men following separate investigations into large-scale property and vehicle thefts.

A 32-year-old man faces multiple charges, including eight counts of stealing a vehicle, following a series of thefts from Toolara Forest. The incidents involved a Western Star prime mover, a bulldozer, and several ATVs. While some vehicles were recovered, others remain outstanding. The suspect was arrested in Redridge after allegedly fleeing from police and is scheduled to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on 23 October.

In a separate matter, an 18-year-old man from Murgon has been charged with 42 offences related to property crime and car theft. The alleged offences occurred between 4 September and 11 September across various suburbs in Brisbane and Kingaroy. The charges include multiple counts of entering dwellings with intent, unlawful use of motor vehicles, and stealing. The individual was apprehended in Heathwood with assistance from the Brisbane Dog Squad and POLAIR.
