Queensland Police find missing sister of actress Simmone Jade Mackinnon dead

Kym Mackinnon, the 51-year-old sister of Australian actress Simmone Jade Mackinnon, has been found dead at Tamborine Mountain in Queensland. The discovery occurred just one day after the actress made a public plea on social media to help locate her missing sister.

Queensland Police confirmed the death but stated that officials do not find the circumstances suspicious. Law enforcement indicated they will prepare a report for the Coroner regarding the non-suspicious death. Kym had been missing since August 7 and was last seen on Guanaba Road.
