Quem Ama Cuida: Adriana is acquitted and confronts Pilar

In the Brazilian telenovela ‘Quem Ama Cuida’, protagonist Adriana (Leticia Colin) has been acquitted of the murder of businessman Arthur Brandão (Antonio Fagundes) following a unanimous judicial decision. After spending six years in prison for a crime she did not commit, Adriana celebrates her freedom with her family.

Following her acquittal, Adriana confronts her rival, Pilar (Isabel Teixeira), by invading her apartment and physically assaulting her. The conflict stems from Pilar’s role in Adriana’s wrongful conviction and her subsequent attempts to control Arthur’s fortune.

Subplots involve Zeni (Rosanna Viegas), a former inmate who returns to confront Pilar, and Adriana using a camera on her dog, Maria Antonieta, to spy on Pilar’s movements. Additionally, the character Felipe (Pietro Antonelli) faces a crisis after discovering that his romantic interest, Mau Mau (João Victor Gonçalves), is the brother of Adriana.
