Quem Ama Cuida: Adriana acquitted and Pedro survives assassination attempt
In the Brazilian telenovela 'Quem Ama Cuida', major plot developments center on the legal exoneration of Adriana and a violent attack on Pedro. After spending six years in prison for a crime she did not commit, Adriana is officially acquitted of the murder of Arthur Brandão following a criminal review. This victory shifts the power dynamics within the Brandão family, leading to a physical confrontation between Adriana and Pilar, who had previously used the conviction to intimidate her.
Simultaneously, the character Pedro becomes the target of a life-threatening ambush orchestrated by Pilar and executed by Tom. After discovering a tracker in his vehicle, Pedro is pursued and his car is forced off the road into a river. Although Pilar initially celebrates what she believes is a successful assassination, Adriana manages to rescue Pedro, who survives the attempt.
Further tensions arise within the family as an audit reveals financial fraud in the management of the Brandão jewelry business. Additionally, Heitor returns to the family to investigate Arthur's death and reclaim his inheritance, while new revelations emerge regarding the past of the housekeeper, Diná.
