Quentin Tarantino unveils first look at Cliff Booth sequel
At AFI Fest in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino screened the first 17 minutes of ‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’, a sequel to his 2019 film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. The film, written by Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, features Brad Pitt returning as the character Cliff Booth.
Set in 1977, the story follows Booth as he works as a bartender and cinema projectionist while resolving issues for Hollywood's elite. The production includes a cast featuring Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Fincher noted that the final film, which runs approximately two and a half hours, was edited down from a significantly longer draft.
The film is scheduled for an IMAX theatrical release on 25 November, followed by a streaming debut on Netflix on 23 December.
