Querétaro authorities locate three missing minors in Pinal de Amoles cave

The Querétaro State Attorney General's Office has located three minors—Ariana Jiménez Mendoza, Gael Alvarado Jiménez, and Daniel Alvarado Jiménez—who were previously under an AMBER Alert. The children were found alive inside a cave in a remote, difficult-to-access area of Pinal de Amoles.

Investigations indicate that the children's mother allegedly took them from Jalpan de Serra to the community of Agua Amarga to hide them due to legal custody disputes. Specialized search brigades located the group in a secluded mountainous region of the Sierra Gorda.

A motorcycle linked to the incident was seized by authorities. The minors have been presented to the competent authorities to verify their health and ensure their protection, and the AMBER Alert has been officially lifted.
