Querétaro authorities process “El Metro” for bribery and health crimes

The Querétaro State Attorney General's Office has processed Juan Manuel “N”, known as “El Metro”, for bribery and crimes against health. The arrest occurred during the “Sinergia” operations in the municipalities of Querétaro and Pedro Escobedo.

Authorities identified “El Metro” as a generator of violence in the Bajío region. During the search warrants executed in three different properties, officials seized millions of pesos in cash, four firearms of exclusive military use, 123 cartridges, and two vehicles. A judge has ordered justified preventive prison as a precautionary measure, setting a period of one month and 15 days for complementary investigations.
