Querétaro club rules out fan animation groups at Estadio La Corregidora

State authorities in Querétaro were reviewing a proposal from Club Querétaro to create a new fan animation group, distinct from the former Resistencia Albiazul, that would allow drums and other instruments while preserving a family‑friendly atmosphere at Estadio La Corregidora. Secretary of Government Eric Gudiño Torres said the plan was under joint consideration with the club and would be evaluated against security measures introduced after the March 2022 violence.

Subsequently, Liga BBVA MX and Club Querétaro issued a joint statement declaring that no animation groups will return to the stadium’s stands. The league emphasized a “100 percent family and safe” environment and announced that live music will be provided at upcoming matches instead of organized fan groups. The statement read, “No hay ni habrá regreso de ningún grupo de animación a las tribunas de nuestro estadio.”
