Querétaro Comptroller's Office marks 35 years of service

The Querétaro Comptroller's Office (SECON) celebrated 35 years of service during an event led by Governor Mauricio Kuri González and the head of the agency, Oscar García González. The ceremony honored public servants for their contributions to transparency, accountability, and the proper management of public resources.

Key achievements highlighted include the implementation of the Integral Accountability System (SIREC), which utilizes 20 automated software developments to strengthen oversight. The agency was also recognized by the World Justice Project as the best comptroller's office in the country.

Official reports indicated that the agency maintains zero findings, reservations, or recommendations from external audit firms regarding the financial statements of the Executive Power's Central Sector. Additionally, there have been zero observations from the Superior Audit of the Federation and the Secretariat of Anti-Corruption and Good Government. Regarding fiscalization by the ESFE, observations decreased from 589 in 2015 to 38 under the current administration.
