Querétaro cultural department launches summer workshops for children
The Secretaría de Cultura of Querétaro announced a summer program for children running throughout July and August. Activities will be offered at the Museo de Arte de Querétaro, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, the Centro Queretano de la Imagen, the Centro de las Artes de Querétaro, Casa del Faldón and the public libraries Plutarco Elías Calles and Querétaro 2000.
The courses include plastic arts, oil painting, watercolor, photography rallies, paper‑robotics, sign‑language lessons, origami, storytelling, and magic. Specific offerings are the "El vuelo del colibrí" art class (20 July‑7 August), "Fábrica creativa" at the contemporary museum (21‑24 July and 28‑30 July), a bilingual "Story time, art & science" workshop (13‑24 July), and a daily reading room on Saturdays.
