Pilgrims from the Diocese of Querétaro made the final leg of their traditional journey to the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City. Groups set out before dawn, walking or cycling dozens of kilometers, with some stopping at municipal stadiums for mass and breakfast before continuing on foot for up to five continuous hours.

On Sunday, the cyclists and walkers arrived at the basilica where they were greeted by Bishop Fidencio López Plaza and the basilica’s rector, Daniel Víctor Villalobos Ortiz. A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated, after which the participants expressed gratitude and prepared for the return trip to Querétaro.
