Querétaro Gov. Mauricio Kuri Unveils Digital Investment Portal to Cut Company Setup Time

Governor Mauricio Kuri González presented the diagnostic and implementation plan for the Ventanilla Digital de Inversiones, a single‑window platform intended to simplify and digitize the procedures for establishing new companies in Querétaro. The initiative aims to allow a business to be fully installed in no more than four months, while maintaining regulatory governance.

The state reports that about 68% of its administrative processes are already digital, with a target of 80% by the end of the year and full digitalization next year. The project is being developed with technical support from the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD), which has outlined 408 actions to create an interoperable digital file, online payments and remote inspections. Kuri said, “Opportunity brings the company, and confidence keeps it,” emphasizing that the portal should boost competitiveness, innovation and job creation. A complementary system called “Cerebro Querétaro” will link information across government agencies to improve decision‑making and citizen services.
