Querétaro Governor Kuri meets with political figures ahead of 2027 elections

Querétaro Governor Mauricio Kuri González has begun a series of public meetings and social media endorsements of various political figures, signaling potential alignments for the 2027 electoral cycle.

Kuri recently met with Luis Bernardo Nava Guerrero, the former Secretary of Social Development, praising his “generosity” and describing him as a “fundamental piece of unity” for the state. This meeting follows similar public interactions with other members of the National Action Party (PAN), including Querétaro Mayor Felipe Macías Olvera, Senator Agustín Dorantes, and municipal leaders from Corregidora, El Marqués, and Huimilpan.

While the PAN State Steering Committee has not yet officially announced its candidates for the upcoming elections, the Governor’s strategy appears to involve providing visible support to potential contenders across different municipalities, including San Juan del Río.
