Querétaro hosts regional meeting for general surgery specialists

The Regional Central Meeting of the Mexican Association of General Surgery is being held in Querétaro from September 3 to 5. The event brings together surgeons, professors, residents, and students from Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Morelos, and Querétaro.

María Martina Pérez Rendón, the state Secretary of Health, presided over the opening ceremony. She emphasized the importance of medical professionals staying updated on technological advancements and evolving patient needs to ensure safer and more timely clinical decisions. The meeting aims to strengthen academic exchange and promote knowledge based on medical evidence.
