Querétaro promotes cultural heritage in Madrid

The state of Querétaro, Mexico, has launched a cultural and tourism promotion initiative at the Plaza de Chamberí in Madrid, Spain. The exhibition aims to showcase the state's landscapes, traditions, and artistic expressions to the Spanish public.

Led by the Querétaro Secretaries of Tourism and Culture, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado and Ana Paola López Birláin, the event includes workshops for creating Lelé dolls and painting clay pieces. A traditional Day of the Dead offering is also featured. Additionally, a photographic exhibition by 13 local photographers highlights the cultural identity of the region, including the traditions of the Otomí communities in Tolimán.

The initiative is a collaborative effort between the state's culture and tourism departments to strengthen Querétaro's international presence and promote its attractions, leveraging the direct flight connection between Querétaro and Madrid.
