Querétaro promotes industrial investment model and Meximold 2026
Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, head of the Querétaro Sustainable Development Secretariat (SEDESU), inaugurated the seventh edition of Meximold 2026. The event aims to strengthen the state's industrial ecosystem by fostering technological integration, specialized talent, and innovation within the plastics transformation sector, which includes over 600 companies in the region.
During the event, Moldes Kast was recognized as the ‘Company of the Year in Mold Manufacturing.’ Jorge Ayala, president of the Mexican Association of Mold and Die Manufacturing (AMMT), emphasized the industry's role as a catalyst for various consumer products.
Additionally, Del Prete Tercero presented the ‘Querétaro Model’ at the Guatemala Industrial forum in Guatemala. He highlighted the state's success in attracting high-impact investments through a ‘triple helix’ strategy involving collaboration between government, academia, and private enterprises. The model leverages Querétaro's geographic location, infrastructure, and skilled workforce to drive economic and social development.
