Querétaro Prosecutor's Office reports 98% efficiency in August

The Querétaro State Attorney General's Office reported a 98.66 percent efficiency rate in resolving investigation files during August 2026. During this period, the institution initiated 4,567 investigation files and determined 4,506 through various legal mechanisms.

Key judicial activities included 1,387 hearings, resulting in 541 cases being linked to trial with an efficiency rate of 94.75 percent. Additionally, 194 search warrants were authorized with a 98.48 percent effectiveness rate. The office also reported that 302 detentions were classified as legal, representing a 94.67 percent efficiency in the legality of arrests.

In terms of judicial outcomes, the ministry obtained 122 guilty verdicts, achieving a 96.83 percent efficiency rate in sentencing. The total prison sentences imposed during the month amounted to 463 years, 2 months, and 1 day. Regarding victim assistance, the office facilitated damage reparations totaling over 11.5 million pesos and secured approximately 8.5 million pesos specifically designated for victim compensation.
