Querétaro recognizes 435 municipal workers for years of service

The Mayor of Querétaro, Felifer Macías, led a ceremony to recognize 435 municipal employees for their long-term commitment to public service. The workers received incentives for completing 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service.

These annual incentives are established under clause 24 of the General Labor Agreement. During the event, Macías emphasized that the dedication of these public servants contributes to Querétaro being ranked as the most competitive city in Mexico by the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO), noting that government efficiency was a key factor in that evaluation.

Accompanied by Adriana Olvera de Macías, president of the Municipal DIF System Patronato, the mayor urged staff to maintain a sense of belonging and responsibility to continue benefiting local families.
