Querétaro State Police wins four international intelligence awards
The Querétaro State Police (POES) has received four international awards for criminal intelligence and analysis at the 2026 Analytical Products Contest. The event was organized by the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) during its annual training conference held in St. Louis, Missouri.
The agency's Intelligence Division secured two first-place honors: one in the Graphic Products category for mapping criminal links in vehicle theft, and another in the Intelligence Products category for locating an individual with an active warrant for high-impact crimes. Additionally, the police earned two second-place awards in the Tactical Products category for a bulletin on hydrocarbon theft and the Criminal Maps category for spatial analysis of traffic accidents.
Querétaro was the only organization from Mexico and Latin America to be recognized in this edition and achieved the highest total number of awards among all participating institutions.
