Querétaro students to participate in U.S. educational exchange programs

Eighteen students from Querétaro, Mexico, have been selected to participate in international educational exchange programs in the United States. The group includes eight students joining the Space Academy program to visit NASA in Huntsville, Alabama, and ten students participating in the Contigo Embajadores Bicentenario 2026 program to study Big Data at the University of Texas.

The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Government of Querétaro, the U.S. Embassy, Microsoft, and Fundación Televisa. Querétaro Governor Mauricio Kuri González emphasized the importance of the partnership with the United States, describing the two regions as allies and commercial partners.

Alejandra Lebrija Hirschfeld, director of Fundación Televisa, encouraged the participants to maximize these opportunities to develop global competencies, specifically highlighting the necessity of English language proficiency for accessing international academic and scientific content.
