Querétaro to expand free electric transport system in November

Querétaro Mayor Felifer Macías announced that the second stage of the free electric transport system in the Historic Center will be presented on November 15. This expansion will include new units expected to arrive shortly. The Mayor noted that the initial phase of the service saw approximately 36,000 boardings during its first 11 days of operation.

Additionally, Macías discussed municipal fiscal updates, noting that a tax regularization campaign involving the waiver of surcharges and fines on property taxes could generate approximately 40 million pesos. Regarding infrastructure, he stated that the Peñuelas drain is now 100% operational with increased capacity, and the Josefa Ortiz Domínguez Sports Unit has been completed and awaits inauguration.
