The ramp could cost between 150 million and 200 million pesos, exceeding the municipal budget and requiring federal financing. Engineers are evaluating a conventional gravel design versus a special retention system similar to those used on aircraft carriers. A definitive design and budget are expected within two months, after which financial contributions from municipal, state and federal levels will be determined.
