Querétaro University Opens Two Contemporary Art Exhibitions

The Centro de Arte Bernardo Quintana Arrioja (CABQA) at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro inaugurated two exhibitions on July 30. "Desde el alma," organized by Angy Meré, showcases finalists of the eponymous photography contest, featuring portraiture that reflects emotions, memories, and stories. It will remain open to the public until August 19, 2026. The second show, "Surcos," by artist Oliver Esquivel, explores imprint, time, and memory through various visual media and will be on view until August 21, 2026. Both exhibitions are free and aim to expand visual arts access for the university community and general public.
