QuickLink introduces 4K capabilities for StudioEdge and StudioCall

QuickLink has announced new 4K capabilities for its StudioEdge and StudioCall platforms, which will be showcased at IBC 2026. The company is introducing StudioEdge-4K, the first 4K model in the StudioEdge lineup, alongside new native 4K 60fps support for StudioCall.

These updates aim to enhance remote guest contribution for broadcasters and media organizations. StudioEdge-4K integrates native 4K 60fps StudioCall ingest with NVIDIA-powered AI upscaling. This technology allows production teams to achieve consistent 4K output even when contributors use platforms that do not natively support 4K, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, by intelligently enhancing HD video.

The new 4K feeds can be output via 4K SDI and NDI, ensuring integration into existing broadcast and live production workflows. CEO Richard Rees stated that the StudioEdge-4K provides production teams with increased flexibility when incorporating remote contributors into professional 4K workflows.
