Quiet Riot announces new vocalist and temporary replacement

Rock band Quiet Riot has announced the recruitment of a new vocalist, who is scheduled to make his live debut with the group this October. While the identity of the new singer has not yet been revealed, the band stated that a formal announcement is forthcoming.

To cover upcoming performances, Jason McMaster, known for his work with Dangerous Toys and Broken Teeth, will step in as the temporary lead vocalist for two shows: August 29 in Tower, Minnesota, and September 5 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The lineup change follows the departure of longtime vocalist Jizzy Pearl. Pearl, who fronted the band during multiple stints between 2013 and 2026, expressed gratitude to fans on social media as he prepares to pursue solo projects in the UK.
