Quiet Riot names John Torra as new lead vocalist
Quiet Riot has announced John Torra as the band's new lead vocalist, replacing Jizzy Pearl. Torra, a 23-year-old singer from Long Island, previously fronted the New Jersey metal group Fire 'N Ice.
Pearl's departure follows the conclusion of the band's 2026 tour leg. The selection process for the new frontman involved an open call that received more than 700 submissions. Band manager Regina Banali praised Torra's talent and professionalism, noting that his audition performance stood out during in-person meetings.
The current Quiet Riot lineup includes bassist Rudy Sarzo, guitarist Alex Grossi, and drummer Johnny Kelly. The band has scheduled upcoming tour dates featuring Torra, starting this fall and extending into 2027, with stops including West Hollywood and South America.
