Quilindschy Hartman deactivates social media accounts

Dutch footballer Quilindschy Hartman has announced his decision to deactivate his Instagram account to take a break from social media. The 24-year-old defender, currently on loan from Burnley to Espanyol, stated that while there is nothing specifically wrong, he has felt a decreasing need for social media in recent months.

This decision follows a turbulent period in Hartman’s career. After moving from Feyenoord to Burnley last summer, he eventually lost his starting position. During the winter transfer window, he was linked to a potential move to Ajax, which resulted in him receiving hateful messages from some Feyenoord supporters. Hartman later clarified that a transfer to Amsterdam was never concrete.

Hartman is currently awaiting his La Liga debut with Espanyol, having remained on the bench for the club’s first two league matches of the season.
