Quillan Salkilld vs. Benoit Saint-Denis to headline UFC Sydney

The UFC has officially announced that lightweight contenders Quillan Salkilld and Benoit Saint-Denis will headline UFC Fight Night in Sydney, Australia. The event is scheduled to take place at the Afterpay Arena on February 6 or 7, 2027.

Salkilld, a 26-year-old Australian fighter with a 13-1 professional record, enters the bout with an undefeated 6-0 mark in the UFC. He most recently secured a first-round submission victory over Mateusz Gamrot. A win against Saint-Denis could propel the sixth-ranked Salkilld toward a title shot.

Saint-Denis, a 30-year-old Frenchman ranked seventh in the lightweight division, holds a 17-4 professional record. He seeks to rebound from a recent submission loss to Paddy Pimblett. Known for his aggressive style, Saint-Denis has secured 11 submission victories throughout his career.

The Sydney event also features the finals of 'ROAD TO UFC' Season 5, with bouts scheduled across the flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, and women's strawweight divisions.
