Quilmes Atlético Club honors victim of military dictatorship
Quilmes Atlético Club has held a ceremony to honor José Martín Amigo, a club supporter who was killed by state authorities during Argentina's last civic-military dictatorship. The tribute took place at the Quilmes Museum, organized as part of the club's activities related to memory and justice.
Amigo, who was 23 years old at the time of his death on September 24, 1976, was recognized for his community work and commitment to social values. During the event, which was attended by club officials, including Secretary of Minutes Alejandro Paradiso, and writer Demián Konfino, a commemorative plaque was presented to his family.
