Regional governments launch various school and public infrastructure projects
Various regional governments are implementing infrastructure projects focused on education and public facilities.
In Argentina, several school improvements are underway. In Quilmes, the first stage of works at Escuela Secundaria Nº 8 de Don Bosco has been inaugurated following the withdrawal of national funding. In Paraná, a 369 million peso tender has been opened for the integral repair of Escuela Santa Fe. In Federal, 43 million pesos are being invested to improve security and access at Escuela Nina N° 2. Additionally, the General López department in Santa Fe is receiving 190 million pesos for 12 different educational institutions. In Perico, an 800 million peso investment is progressing for a new school for students with disabilities. Other local projects include the inauguration of sports courts in Palmira and new lighting at the Escuela Municipal Experimental Nº 2005 in Esquel.
In Spain, the municipality of Torrent is renovating the Parc Central athletics track, covering over 8,800 square meters, while the Andalusian government is investing 100,000 euros to install an exterior elevator at IES Fray Luis de Granada to improve accessibility.
