Quilmes Municipality Gives Sports Kits to 37 Neighborhood Clubs

The municipality of Quilmes handed out sports kits to 37 neighborhood clubs during a ceremony at the Polideportivo Vecinal de San Francisco Solano. The distribution, led by Mayor Eva Mieri, included balls, cones, an inflator and vests for daily training. Officials highlighted the program as part of a municipal policy that began under Mayra Mendoza and aims to support local youth, families and community cohesion through sport. Club representatives praised the assistance, noting its importance for continued activity in a challenging economic environment.

The kits are the first of a series planned through 2026, with additional deliveries slated for clubs in other district leagues. The initiative underscores the city's commitment to maintaining and expanding municipal sports facilities, with a target of seven upgraded venues by next year.
